Software

The software we built running real campaigns

We are a marketing agency first. That is the day job, and it is where all of this came from. Over a few years of running Google Ads and reporting on them for home-services companies, law firms, and online stores, we kept hitting the same walls. The tools that were supposed to answer basic questions either did not, or charged more per month than the answer was worth.

So we built our own. Four of them, over time, each one aimed at a problem we were tired of solving by hand. We ran them on real client accounts long before we thought about selling them. They are available now, and this is the short tour: what each one does, who it is for, and where it stands today.

Tradebook: a real P&L for a home-services business

The question that started this one was simple and almost never answerable: of the money a contractor spends on ads, how much comes back, and through which channel? Spend lives in three ad platforms. Revenue lives in the field-service software. Nobody joins them, so the answer is a shrug.

Tradebook joins them. It reconciles ad spend against real revenue by channel using your field-service software, separates the revenue a young month booked from the revenue it has actually completed, and puts a missed-call revenue estimate on screen with the formula visible so you can check it. It is self-hosted and white-label, and it starts at $149 a month, with a one-time license if you would rather own it outright. If you run HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or garage doors, this is the one built for you. We wrote more about the problem it solves in where home-services companies lose ad money.

Meridian: the map of where your growth is hiding

Channel totals hide geography. An account can look healthy in aggregate while three neighborhoods do all the work and a dozen others sit empty. Meridian is a marketing analytics dashboard built around that blind spot. It plots leads per market, measures each market against a goal you set, and flags the under-served areas where cheap growth usually hides, because you are not yet competing with your own saturation there.

It runs as configuration rather than custom code, so the same product can show a leads map for one business and a pipeline view for another. It connects to Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, GA4, and BigQuery, on your credentials, in your environment. Meridian is a fit for anyone who sells into more than a handful of markets and wants to see them one at a time instead of as a single blurred number.

TrailMap: a senior analyst's read on your ad account, in minutes

Most reporting tells you what happened. It rarely tells you what to do about it. TrailMap is the tool we built to close that gap. You export the report from your ad platform, upload it, and TrailMap normalizes the data, runs a deterministic analysis where every number is computed rather than guessed, then writes a plain-English action plan sorted by what will move results first.

It reads Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok, tracks progress from one run to the next so you can see what got fixed and what is still open, and produces a single-file report you can hand to a client or a boss. It is hosted software, so there is nothing to install, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no credit card. Plans run from $79 a month. This is the one for an in-house marketer or a small agency that wants a fast second opinion without booking a consultant. The self-audit checklist in how to audit your own Google Ads account is essentially the manual version of what TrailMap does automatically.

Trailhead: closing the loop between clicks and revenue

Every ad platform optimizes toward the conversions you report, and most businesses report leads, not revenue. Trailhead fixes what gets reported. It captures the ad click behind every call, form, and booking, ties each lead to its real outcome in your CRM, and feeds actual job revenue back to Google, Microsoft, and Meta so their bidding chases paying customers instead of cheap clicks. Every write-back runs through a safety gate first: a dry-run you review, an approval bound to exactly what you saw, and an upload that records what it did.

To be straight about where this one stands: the attribution engine is built and tested, and the hosted product around it is still in active development. We are taking early-access partners now, who get first onboarding slots and a real say in the roadmap. If closed-loop attribution is the thing you have been missing, this is the one to get in line for. The longer version is in our write-up on closed-loop attribution.

Where to find them

None of these are slideware. Every one ran on a live account before it had a price tag, which is the only reason we are comfortable selling them. Tradebook and Meridian you can buy today. TrailMap has a free trial you can start this afternoon. Trailhead is open for early access while we finish the hosted version. They all live in one place: our software shop.

And if you would rather skip the software and just have us run your accounts, using these tools on your behalf, that is still the main thing we do. Either way the goal has not changed since the first version of the first tool: fewer guesses, and more answers you can actually act on.
